Why a waiting list
Each tool is in a different stage of build. Some are in pilot use with remediation teams; others are still being reworked after early field tests. We want every person who tries a tool to find it working, and we want any feedback to land on a stable surface. The waiting list lets us roll out access in small cohorts and keep the experience honest.
If you have an immediate professional need, say so in the form. We open priority slots for university disability-services offices, library teams, accessibility remediators, publishers, and students with print disabilities.
While you wait, join the Document Accessibility Community of Practice
Document remediation in India is informal work. Practitioners learn through trial and error, with no structured training, no shared credential, and no peer review. The Document Accessibility Community of Practice is a free space for people in India who want to build professional skills in document accessibility and use those skills to serve students with print disabilities. Membership is free. The work is mission-led. There is no fee, no commercial commitment, and no expectation that you have done this work before.

The form takes about a minute. WhatsApp is optional. Email list works too.
Other ways to reach us
For partnerships, training enquiries, or pilot conversations, email deepa@equitabledocs.org or visit the For universities page. Students with a print disability who need a document remediated can use Get help with a document directly; that route is open and does not require a waiting-list place.
